FEA & Stress Analysis Training

Haughton Design can help by providing bespoke Finite Element Analysis training and support so that you get the most from your CAD software investment. Our training staff are practical engineers who are easy to engage and understand. Their aim is to help designers understand how to set up FEA scenarios (In linear materials) and interpret the results to optimize their designs.

FEA Training for Design Engineers

These days most 3D CAD packages have some form of FEA capability, however many experienced designers are not taking advantage of this. We do not want to train you in the FEA software that you use, this is usually undertaken by the software providers. The aim of Haughton Design's training is to build upon designers basic FEA software skills by working through your typical everyday design problems. HD's own design engineers have undergone this training in Cosmos & Cosmos Express so that they are now able to tackle general FEA projects without bringing in specialists FEA consultants.

FEA Training Support

Our training is relaxed and informal by encouraging interaction, it can be delivered at Haughton Design or at the clients premises. Basic training does not take long and further support can be provided on an as required basis. If you feel a little daunted by FEA or want to move up a level, please give as a call, we may even be able to find funding to help you too!
