Cost effective CAD services from Haughton Design

VoloView software is used to read electronic drawing files from AutoCAD and Mechanical Desktop. With its introduction, our designs can now be viewed, marked up and printed, by anyone with access to a modern PC, from a P133 upwards.

This viewing software is available as a free download direct from Autodesk. Just click the link below to obtain your copy. Once it has been installed, every member of the project team can have the same access to design information, without any expensive CAD software required to view the files.

One major advantage of VoloView drawings is that their size is a fraction of the full CAD model. This allows faster transfer by Email and allows rapid response to questions etc. This revolutionary software means even more time can be cut from the design development process.

As an example, we currently produce designs and can simultaneously issue them to our client and a sub-contract machinist or fabricator, who can concurrently develop a quotation. If the design and quotation are acceptable manufacturing can and sometimes does commence within hours of conceptual design.

Please note that VoloView is no longer available from AutoDesk . Our suggestion is to use the free eDrawings download from SolidWorks, it will effectively view both AutoCAD and SolidWorks eDrawings.
