CATIA

Haughton Design Limited have now added CATIA v5 to our range of CAD services. It has become necessary to provide this design service to compete effectively in the Aerospace market that we frequently operate in. We have used our seat of CATIA v5 extensively on a number of recent aerospace design projects such as A380, Falcon and JSF. We expect to add a further seat of CATIA v5 to our capacity as our exposure to automotive design projects increases over the next 12 months.

We have had great success collaborating between CATIA v5 and SolidWorks 2008 which has allowed us to utilise our design resources very effectively for both Aerospace and Automotive design work. This gives all the advantages of SolidWorks communications suite together with the sheer power of CATIA v5.

Using CATIA v5 allows Haughton Design Limited to handle much larger projects than mid range CAD packages, it allows us to communicate directly with clients and eliminates all of the issues arising from translation.
