Working so closely with the UK manufacturing industry, I am amazed that there can be any doubt of the strength of the sector. This month I had the privilege of visiting several local manufacturers including Pelloby and KMF. I was amazed at the level of demand they were receiving and the level of output generated.
 
In the midst of recession manufacturing companies have been innovative and focused on exploiting needs of a particular sector. New product development can be an effective tool to assist in this type of market development.
 
Judging by this month I am confident that the manufacturing industry is growing strongly. Exploiting new product ideas can encourage further growth, and support the UK economy.”
