Special Purpose Machine Design

Our broad knowledge of engineering design and automation has enabled us to use 3D CAD to produce anything from small drilling units, to complex multi-station machines. We have also designed wire-winders, plastic mould trimming machines and complex automated final assembly systems. These special purpose machines have been designed by us working independently, or as part of an overall project team. Our use of SolidWorks or CATIA v5, allows us to work in 3D to improve automation, machine design, cost and detailing time.

By using SolidWorks or CATIA v5, we have the ability to manipulate automation assemblies to check for clashes manually, thus reducing the problems associated with producing bespoke products. We can also use the power of 3D CAD to animate a complete machine sequence to check everything is functioning as it should.
